Professor (BPS-20) department ka academic head hota hai — MBBS students ko lectures deta hai, curriculum design karta hai, junior faculty aur demonstrators ko supervise karta hai, exams set karta hai aur research supervise karta hai. Pathology ya Biochemistry ke Professor ke rozana kaam mein lab teaching, post-graduate trainees ki training aur departmental meetings shaamil hain.

Associate Professor (BPS-19) department ka second-in-command hota hai — Professor ke saath teaching, clinical training, aur research mein madad karta hai; junior faculty aur students dono ki rehnumai karta hai. Forensic Medicine ke Associate Professor ke kaam mein medico-legal reports, autopsy supervision aur court cases mein expert opinion shaamil ho sakti hai, jabkay Psychiatry ke Associate Professor OPD, wards aur psychology trainees ki supervision karta hai.
