The Punjab Police has announced its 2026 recruitment drive for 1,170 Constable, Lady Constable and Driver Constable (BPS-07) posts for Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur districts — including the de-excluded (tribal) areas of Rajanpur and Tehsil Rojhan. Both male and female candidates holding the domicile of the respective district/area can apply. Applications will be accepted from 12 October 2026 to 31 October 2026 — the last date is 31 October 2026.

Download the prescribed application form from the official Punjab Police website (punjabpolice.gov.pk) and submit the filled form along with attested documents and the Rs. 300 form fee at your respective District Police Lines between 12 and 31 October 2026. There is no online application — forms are submitted in person. Never pay any agent or middleman; the only fee is the official Rs. 300 deposited as directed in the notice.

Eligibility Criteria (Constable / Lady Constable)

  • Age (as of 31 October 2026): Settled areas 18–22 years; De-excluded tribal areas 18–25 years; Tehsil Rojhan 18–30 years
  • Education: Matriculation — minimum 50% marks (settled areas), Matric pass (de-excluded areas), minimum 33% marks (Tehsil Rojhan)
  • Height: Male 5 ft 7 in; Female 5 ft 2 in (relaxation applicable for tribal/Rojhan areas)
  • Chest (male only): 33 x 34.5 inches (minimum)
  • Running test: Male 1.6 km in 7 minutes; Female 1.6 km in 10 minutes
  • Domicile & CNIC: valid CNIC and domicile of the respective district/area
  • Driver Constable: age 21–30 years, Matric, valid LTV driving licence with 2 years driving experience
  • Quotas: 15% for women, 5% for minorities, 10% for retired armed forces personnel

Constable kon hota hai? Constable (sipahi) police force ka bunyadi officer hota hai — thane (police station) par duty, patrol, naaka, mulziman ki giraftari mein madad aur aman-o-aman qaim rakhna us ka kaam hai. Lady Constable thane mein khawateen se mutalliq cases, FIR aur giraftariyon mein madad deti hai. Driver Constable police ki gaariyan chalata hai — us ke paas LTV licence aur driving ka tajurba hona lazmi hai.

Roz-marra ki zimmedariyan: thane ki duty roster par hazri, ilaqe mein gasht (patrol), naake par checking, FIR darj karwane walon ki madad, aur baraat ya protest jaisay halaat mein law & order sambhalna. BPS-07 sarkari mulazmat hai — tankhwah ke sath medical, pension aur taraqqi ke mauqay miltay hain.

De-excluded area ka matlab: Rajanpur ke tribal ilaqay (jahan aam qawaneen mukhtalif hain) ke liye age aur qualification mein narmi rakhi gayi hai taake wahan ke naujawan bhi shamil ho saken.
